Some players might prefer using the gamepad, some may prefer using the keyboard/mouse combo. If you can use keyboard/mouse in the meaning of if it’s harder: there is no objective answer for it. While the game runs great and is really enjoyable with keyboard+mouse (thanks mainly to the more precise camera movement), it only displays gamepad buttons, thus making menu navigation a nightmare.

The slightest move on the lowest sensitivity. My biggest annoyance with Dark Souls 3, as I wrote in our PC Performance Analysis, was the complete lack of proper keyboard on-screen indicators. Accessible from the in-game interface, the control settings are spread over. Weapons that list multiple Attack Types deal a different physical damage type when a particular attack is executed, which is usually the one or two-handed Strong Attack. As developers were too lazy to give us proper tutorial with keyboard keys instead of only gamepad ones I made one for myself and decided to share it. Can you play Dark Souls with PC controls Sure, Dark Souls can be played using the keyboard and the mouse. The main problem is the mouse and as a result the camera control. The game also lets you rebind keys for keyboard and mouse control, something the first Dark Souls failed miserably at.
Some weapons share a similar moveset while others have one or more attacks that are completely unique. Moveset refers to the attacks that can be performed when using weapons in Dark Souls.Įvery weapon has a moveset. For other uses, see Moveset (Dark Souls II) and Moveset (Dark Souls III).
